The Zibi – Block 10 project consisted of the construction of a residential building with 140 units distributed over 15 floors. The building, a part of the Zibi project which is the first carbon neutral community in the National Capital Region, houses the thermal power plant for all buildings on the Quebec side. The building’s mechanical systems were selected to reduce the building’s energy consumption and meet the guidelines for the carbon neutral community. The thermal power plant can be seen from the Eddy Bridge due to the large windows in this space.
