Maison des Collines is the newest addition to Wakefield Memorial Hospital and is located on the grounds adjacent to the hospital. This non-profit charity is dedicated to providing accessible palliative care to all. They launched their end-of-life home support service in 2015 and in May 2018, construction began on the Hill House. Today, it includes six rooms to serve the territory des Collines, 7 municipalities with a total population of over 52 500. The unique shape of the building includes a large amount of windows for abundant natural light and a view of nature from every room. Beautiful wood accents were installed on the exterior and interior to add a natural and warm touch to the building. The ventilation ducts we installed were placed so that the wood accents on the ceiling were not hidden. In addition, we prioritized sustainability in our selection and installation of the building’s mechanical and electrical systems..
